Counselling
Counselling for First Responders refers to the therapeutic support offered to people in the Emergency Services. First Responder Counselling is a dual-focus area divided into two categories: work-related and personal life. (Work-related problems often require referrals to existing support systems offered by EAP.) Counselling focuses on fostering healing and increasing resilience on personal and professional levels.
Counselling for First Responder families is aimed at assisting individuals, couples or family members to cope with normative life stressors as well as unique stressors related to loving a First Responder or forming part of a First Responder family. This can include coping with hectic schedules, secondary traumatisation, and more.

Debriefings
First Responders encounter trauma on a daily basis and need a safe space to decompress and process trauma - whether it be their own personal trauma (related to their own health, well-being or family) or secondary traumatisation through the exposure of others' trauma.
